Basics of Freestyle

July 15, 2020

Freestyle is a favorite to many because it is the fastest, and unlike backstroke, you can see where you’re going 👀
The mechanics of freestyle include:
1️⃣ Floating
2️⃣ Fast, Little Kicks
3️⃣ Moving Alternating Arms
4️⃣ Side Breathing
The float keeps you up, the kick is your motor, your arms propel you forward, and you breathe to the side to stay aerodynamic and go faster, similar to a jet ✈️or submarine.
